Stellar Wanderer DX will be available on PC (Windows 10/11 via Steam - including the Steam Deck via Proton), PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch.

Sadly, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One versions are delayed, but we are working hard to bring the game to these platforms as soon as possible.

Yes, it is, but it does have a few limitations. In the beginning of the game there are several compulsory tutorial missions. Sandbox mode will not be available until those missions are completed. Additionally, at certain points, the story will 'lock' specific areas (going there will advance the campaign).

Yes! Stellar Wanderer DX is a full HD remake of the original mobile game. It features enhanced graphics, expanded gameplay, new content, and has been optimized for console and PC platforms while maintaining the classic retro-style aesthetic that our fans loved.

Actually... it is! Stellar Wanderer started out as a sequel for the mobile game Strike Wing: Raptor Rising. Though their stories are not directly connected, the games do share the exact same setting: universe, factions, ships, etc.
Strike Wing: Raptor Rising is a much simpler, action focused game, and is still available for download on mobile platforms, though it is mostly obsolete at this time (you can find it on Apple App Store or Google Play Store).

Only in our dreams... :)

On a more serious note, our sources of inspiration definitely include classic games like Freelancer, Wing Commander: Privateer, or the original Elite; still, we tried to create Strike Wing/Stellar Wanderer with their own personality, and not merely clones of a particular classic game.

Sadly, no. We're a very, very tiny team, and this scope exceeds our resources at the moment. Perhaps in a sequel...

Yes! Stellar Wanderer DX is fully compatible with the Steam Deck, allowing players to enjoy the game on the go with optimized controls and performance.

Yes! The game now supports HOTAS and HOSAS configurations on PC.

On consoles, standard controller support is available, but we are planning to add HOTAS support in future updates.

There are currently no plans to support VR.

No. We might reconsider for post-launch updates, but we have no specific intention at this time.

The game has been optimized to run on a wide range of PC configurations, from entry-level to high-end systems, ensuring accessibility for all players.

Minimum configuration: Windows 7/8/10/11 32 or 64 bit, Intel Core 2 Duo E8400/AMD Phenom II X2, 2GB RAM, NVIDIA Geforce 9600 GT/AMD Radeon HD 4650/Intel HD 4600, 3GB free disk space.

Demo versions may be available on PC during development milestones and special events. Check the News section and our social media for announcements about demo releases. Wishlisting on Steam will notify you when demos become available.

The original mobile version of Stellar Wanderer is still available on mobile app stores. However, Stellar Wanderer DX is the definitive version with significantly enhanced graphics, expanded content, and optimized gameplay for modern platforms.

Yes, we are planning to bring the updated game to mobile platforms too. At this time, however, we cannot share more details. Stellar Wanderer DX features a significantly updated engine, and some features might not be feasible on mobile platforms, or a smooth transition might not be possible.
